WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are small files that can be saved on your computer (or other devices such as smartphones or tablets) when you visit a websites. Usually a cookie contains the name of the site from which it comes, the duration (the time in which the cookie will remain on the device), and an value that is usually a unique number generated randomly.
WHAT TYPES OF COOKIES DO WE USE?
There are different types of cookies that can be stored either in the volatile memory of your PC or mobile devices (tablets, smartphones, etc.), or on the hard disk. In the first case, these cookies are not set to expire and are therefore temporary: they will be automatically deleted when the browser window and all the "child" windows are closed.
Persistent cookies on reverse, if not manually deleted, can remain stored on the PC for months or years depending on how they are set.
This difference is important because it shows how the server-side applications will be able to track the user.
Our site uses both types of cookies previously described.
Third-party cookies: cookies are set up and managed by outsiders (third-party) on our website. Since the users are not able to set these cookies, they can exercise their rights only by the methods provided by the third-party that retains the information (in the table at the bottom of this document there is a summary scheme with all references)
